Hannah Metcalfe is an accomplished independent consultant with over 12 years of experience in developing market-driven digital and ICT solutions for the agricultural sector across Africa and Asia. Previously, Hannah was instrumental in setting up the country operations for Viamo in Tanzania and Kenya, where she successfully scaled digital initiatives to reach millions. At GSMA, she led data-driven research and provided evidence for the adoption and impact of mobile phones, contributing to global insights. Her work has been published by renowned organizations such as UNESCO, UNICEF, and the Rockefeller Foundation. Hannah holds an MBA from IESE Business School and is dedicated to pioneering thought leadership in digital innovation for development. She is based in East Africa.
