Abbie is an AgriTech specialist with extensive research, writing, and implementation experience as well as more recent involvement in the EdTech and Gender domains. Abbie is Research & Engagement Manager for the Mastercard Foundation - Caribou Digital Learning Partnership. Abbie brings valuable experience in strategic planning, translating research and insights into actionable programme goals, and establishing meaningful connections with stakeholders. Abbie has worked with Panoply Digital, overseeing a multi-country digital skills capacity-building project for governments in Ghana, Malawi, and Senegal. Prior to that, Abbie worked at the GSMA, where she produced analytical insights pieces on innovative and impactful digital agriculture use cases, partnerships and business models focusing on enhancing productivity, financial inclusion, and climate outcomes for smallholder farmers. Abbie has also worked in The Gambia in advocacy and programme management roles with organisations tackling issues of child protection, refugee rehabilitation and disaster management and recovery. Abbie holds an MSc in ICT for Development from the Royal Holloway University of London and a BA in International Relations from the University of Leeds. British-Gambian by heritage, she is currently based in Dakar, Senegal.
