Annabel is Chief Program Officer at Caribou. Previously at Caribou, Annabel was Senior Director of Programs under Strive Community, a global philanthropic initiative developed by the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth and Caribou that aims to support the resilience and growth of five million small businesses around the world. Annabel also managed the Mastercard Foundation Learning Partnership across sub-Saharan Africa, under which fall the Platform Livelihoods, Platform-Led Upskilling and FiDA Partnership projects. Previous to Caribou Digital, Annabel worked as a Senior Manager in the Digital Financial Services Department at MicroSave in Nairobi, Kenya. At MicroSave, Annabel provided operational level training, cutting-edge research and consulting services for digital finance providers across Africa and Asia. Prior to MicroSave Annabel’s background was in Marketing and Branding, where she helped build and grow start-up brands in Kenya, the UK and USA. Annabel has an MA in Development Studies from SOAS, and a BA in Spanish from Bristol University. Annabel lives in Kenya.
